Sam was born and raised in Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently works for Boeing.

Deonne Meredith was born and raised in New Orleans. She attended Southern University and received a bachelor degree in Education. Deonne currently works part-time as a caterer. Sam and Deonne have been married for thirteen years and live in the city of Torrance.
