Fred became a Christian in 1986 while attending Loyola Marymount University. After graduating he spent the next two years volunteering in campus ministry. In 1989, Fred decided to go into vocational ministry at Cal State University at Long Beach where he shared the Gospel and ministered to students. Later, he moved to Los Angeles to work as a campus minister at the University of Southern California. In 1995, Fred became the Associate Pastor of Morning Star Christian Church of the South Bay where he served until 2006. In August of 2006, Fred planted LifeSprings Church in the city of Torrance. His desire was to launch a church that would welcome believers as well as the unchurched in the hope that they would receive the life-changing truth of God’s love and of His purpose for their lives.

Lisa, like many women, wears many hats…wife, mother, pastor, and teacher. Her greatest joys are nurturing her family and working alongside Fred in the ministry. Lisa also enjoys teaching the Bible and has a great desire to see men, women, and children devote themselves to living a Spirit-filled life that honors God.

Fred and his wife, Lisa, hold bachelor degrees from Loyola Marymount University, and Fred is continuing his Masters work at The King’s Seminary. They have a passion to see people from all ethnicities, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds come to know Christ and worship together in unity. Fred and Lisa have been married for 18 years and have 6 children.
